Several years ago I created several applications for Palm OS, prior to widespread use of the modern smartphone. These apps were basic and included a shopping list and an excuse generator. The most intuitive of the apps was 'Wave Messenger', which allowed users to send text and picture messages between devices via infrared. The applications were distributed for free and altogether scored several thousand downloads. All six applications are still available for download and are usable on Palm OS devices.
